EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dear Franklin Fox Families,
It’s that time of year again, when our very own Foxes get to share their talents and shine, in the 13th Annual Franklin’s Got Talent show, on Saturday, April 2nd (our second virtual show)! Does your child sing, dance, tell jokes, play an instrument, hula hoop, or anything of the sort? Perhaps you want to do a family band act, or a comedic sketch, we encourage full family participation. Whatever the talent is, Franklin wants to see it!
Talk to your child and encourage them to participate by sharing their talents in this supportive, non-competitive environment. This is a fun, relaxed community-building event that always brings great joy and pride to the students of our beloved Franklin Avenue Elementary School. Whatever you choose to do, please have fun, keep it safe, and enjoy this experience.
How to participate, follow these following steps:

Register online via the talent show website.
Submit a VIDEO recording of your child’s/family’s performance by the 3/18 DEADLINE.
Watch the show online Saturday, April 2nd.
We would also love to *encourage families to participate* in the show together. In the past, the students have been featured on stage in the auditorium sharing their talents with the school, but this year, as we have all been home together, we thought it would be FUN to encourage full family participation in your child’s submission. Another reminder that this is not a competition or an awards type of show.
The Details:
One submission per student ONLY.
Online registration includes required submission form and release be completed by parent/guardian.
If a student is participating in a group number with other students, each participant must register separately.
$10 suggested submission fee at time of registration. (No student will be denied participation for inability to pay, please contact the Talent Show committee at franklinsgottalentshow@gmail.com.)
Submissions must be no longer than 2-3 min MAX.
Video record your child’s (or family’s) act using a phone
We strongly recommend holding your phone/camera HORIZONTALLY when recording, not vertically:
The video submission will be your child’s FINAL PERFORMANCE, so review the video carefully to ensure audio and visual quality are suitable.
The show link and start time will be sent out BEFORE performance day to share with family and friends.
Once you register for the talent show, you are automatically enrolled in the talent show raffle where one student will be the lucky prize winner!
